Their story began with a little bit of divine intervention! Maggie had just returned from a six-month trip with her school YWAM and was figuring out her next steps. Her brother and sister-in-law felt that the Lord was laying it on their heart to ask her to move in with them in Gainesville, she was feeling the same thing! So she did just that.

One day, her brother popped into Lovejoys, the local spot owned by Addison’s grandparents, where Addison worked. He mentioned his sister was moving to town, and Addison’s mom suggested Maggie apply for a job. A few months later, Maggie joined the team, starting in the kitchen. Their first chat was about the annual Whitesboro Chili Cook-Off!

As Maggie moved to serving alongside Addison, he started to see how special she was. He was a bit nervous because she was a little bit older, but eventually, he found the courage and asked her to be his girlfriend in July 2024. And the rest, as they say, is history!
